Description

Tomáš Baťa was of the opinion that the basis of successful work is an environment in which a person feels comfortable and is proud of himself. The aim was to create a factory complex that would look like not only an industrial factory, but a place that is creative, clean and pleasant. The basis was perfect care for greenery and cleanliness. For example, windows on factory buildings were washed once a month (1939, author of the photograph Josef Vaňhara).
