“Baťman entertains the audience, and in addition to the creativity of the stage and language, Bata's inspiring ideas also reach the audience.”
“Formally, Baťman is a playful, dance-filled, and song-filled revue, inspired by the poetics of Studio Ypsilon theatre, Vacek’s home stage for many years, and reflecting his fondness and erudition in the music and atmosphere of the First Republic. He has a well-equipped ensemble in every respect, which easily transforms into a plethora of real and fictional characters.”
“Casting David Suchařípa in the role of the adult Tomáš Baťa is definitely a good choice. He brings energy, charisma, and the dry humour of an impatient guy who loves risk and has a solution for every situation, even if it means dying in the process.”
