Evening teas, social and cultural events regularly organized by the Thomas Bata Foundation, will continue to be served in 2026. Come and enjoy unique experiences in an inspiring environment, with exceptional guests and high-quality tea in hand. Kuba Ryba, Tomáš Hajíček, and Milan Paprčka will visit the Bata Villa.

The Thomas Bata Foundation continued the tradition of tea parties, which was started in the 1920s by Marie and Tomas Bata, in the fall of 2022, and the cultural program at the famous villa immediately became an integral part of social life in Zlín.

Every month, the Bata Villa hosts themed discussions, chamber concerts, and interesting lectures. What can you expect in the first quarter of 2026? The offer is varied.

On Wednesday, 14 January, there will be a discussion with Kuba Ryba, frontman of one of the most successful Czech bands, Rybičky 48. However, Kuba Ryba is not just a bass guitarist, songwriter, and singer; he is a prominent figure in every sense of the word. He has a clear stance, firm opinions, and is not indifferent to social issues. Come and enjoy an unforgettable evening where no topic is off limits.

On Thursday, 19 February, the adventurer Milan Paprčka will be the guest at the Evening Tea. A successful entrepreneur, pilot, and photographer who has built a thriving business combining the best of travel and modern technology, he is behind the largest domestic cartographic group, publishes maps, and actively explores the world. For example, he recently completed a unique gyrocopter flight over the Caribbean.

On Thursday, 12 March, the Bata Villa will belong to Tomáš Hajíček, one of the most prominent figures on the Czech rock scene. Come and listen to the life story of the frontman of the now legendary band Krucipüsk, which is far from revolving solely around music. His journey is full of ups and downs, joy and dramatic moments – the last of which found him on the brink of life and death.

AND PLEASE NOTE! On Thursday, 5 February, there will be a discussion with Radim Hanke, one of the most prominent Czech sculptors of today, who stands out for his firm anchoring in figurative expression. Among other things, he is the creator of the sculptures of Tomas and Jan Antonin Bata. He recently published a new book mapping his extensive work, which he will present at the Bata Villa.

The capacity of the hall at the Bata Villa is limited, so it is necessary to purchase tickets in advance directly on the website www.nadacetomasebati.cz. The ticket price is CZK 149.
