The Bata Week Festival, regularly organized by the Thomas Bata Foundation, will take place for the ninth time this year, and this time it will be dedicated to Bata Schools of Work. You can look forward to a series of themed lectures focusing on Bata education system, learn how individual schools operated, what life was like in Zlín’s boarding schools, and even hear about how students spent their free time.
This year‘s festival will take place from 8 to 12 September and will also offer guided tours of the Bata Villa and the traditional closing afterparty in the garden, featuring a performance by the Zlín band Podjezd.
